Byron Trimble grew up in Detroit, MI, the middle of 3 boys to a pastor and yet has--so far--never been arrested. He graduated from college with a journalism degree and was originally going to be a sports broadcaster before a career change led him to Oklahoma taking a job leading worship at a church.

For various ministry events, he would write comedic sketches, videos and songs for crowd icebreakers to the point where other churches began inviting him to their events to do his "fun stuff" as entertainment. Thus, a comedy career was born.

Since then, Byron has traveled around the world doing comedy for churches, retreats, conferences, fund raisers, high schools, universities and corporate events. His hilarious blend of music and comedy in his live shows and the following generated by his online videos has enabled him to share the stage with nationally known comedians like John Crist and Jonnie W.

He builds his platform around the idea that the Church does well at being serious, but it doesn't do as well at having fun. So whether it's at a live show or with one of his popular Youtube videos, Byron uses comedy to encourage and bring people together by “Doing Fun Well”.

He married his childhood sweetheart, Hannah, and have three young children. They live in the snow capped mountains of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

You can't see the audience, but they're laughing really hard out this joke. We're sure of it!

We had Byron as our entertainment for Encounter Camp and we were glad that we did. The entire audience of 1,000 students were engaged throughout the week. Byron was amazing and brings a strong stage presence. He brought us laughter and smiles through a wide variety of jokes, songs, stories, and video skits. He was so good that we are bringing him back next year.
